I was just a child when I had to leave my home in Gaza. War tore through the streets I once played in, forcing my family to seek refuge in Qatar. I remember the journey, the fear, the uncertainty, but most of all, I remember my mother’s hands.

My mother was a hairstylist, but to me, she was much more than that. She was a healer, an artist, a woman whose touch could restore confidence, whose knowledge of oils, plants, and treatments brought life back to the dullest hair. In our small salon in Gaza, women would come not just for beauty, but for comfort, for a moment of dignity in a world that often took it away from them.

Leaving Gaza meant leaving behind everything we knew. But my mother never let go of her craft. In our new life, her hands still worked tirelessly, mixing oils, massaging scalps, teaching me the secrets of true hair care. She always told me, "Hair is more than just hair it’s our identity, our history, our pride."

As I grew older, I realized that I wanted to honor her. I wanted to take the wisdom she had passed down to me and build something that would make her proud not just for us, but for every woman who understands that caring for herself is an act of strength.

That’s how Myonlycare was born.

Myonlycare isn’t just a business to me. It’s my way of giving back. It’s a tribute to my mother, to the women of Gaza, to every woman who has had to rebuild herself, piece by piece, and still chooses to care.
